Students will learn what Ivan Loesch has discovered about the Heartland Region.    

Standards Based Goal
Students will study their local community and its history, analyze their life style and summarize possible reasons for movement /settlement in varying areas, draw conclusions as to why the people supported themselves the way they did, recognize relationship between rights, respect, responsibilities and consequences of citizenship.   

Student Objectives  
Students will compare the information they learned already, with what Mr. Loesch tells.
Students will question Mr. Loesch and then list at least 3 new facts they have learned and 3 questions they still have.

Mr. Loesch presents and interacts with students. He will ask for questions at the end of this time.

Say thank you and good-by to Mr. Loesch.  E-mail any questions not answered for possible future interview.

Videotape for reference later and absentees.
